Step 1: Belonging
- one
becomes a member of the Body of Christ by accepting
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and also joins the First
Met community of faith.
Step 2: Connecting
- join
a Fulfillment Hour Group that meets every Sunday
morning so that the purposes of the church can be realized
in an intimate setting where relationships
are a priority:
Step3: Worshipping - regularly
attend worship on Saturday or Sunday
to corporately praise God, worship Him in spirit and in
truth and be fed the Word of God:
Step 4: Growing - attend
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study on Wednesday
nights as well as other learning opportunities.
Step 5: Giving
- support
the local and global ministry of the church through
tithes, offerings, love and sacrificial monetary gifts.
Step 6: Serving
- discover
one's spiritual gifts, passion and personality profile and
participate in at least one of the ministries of the
church.
Step
7: Going - take
the Good News of Jesus Christ from the local church
to individuals, groups, and to the whole world.

to acquaint you with Pastor and First Lady Ogletree as well
as with First Metropolitan Church. Please relax and
enjoy this period of about 150 minutes of mutual getting
acquainted. Don’t
hesitate to ask questions or make comments or suggestions.

Members Ministries
New Members
This ministry provides those
who express a desire to unite with FMC a chance to become
acquainted with the history and overall ministry of the church. It
also aims to provide fundamental biblical truths and inspire
new members into ministry participation.
Network
Network is a comprehensive approach
to helping members find their places in ministry that includes
a 3-step process of discovery, consultation and service of
their spiritual gifts. The goal is to help believers
to be fulfilled and fruitful in their ministry involvement
by making sure that the right people are in the right places
for the right reasons.
