Step 2: Connecting - We will strive to develop and nurture close relationships and individual care through small groups known as Fulfillment Hour, which primarily meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30-10:30 am. Every member will be assigned a group although members may change groups. The groups are created to provide the following: Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Evangelism and Missions. (Contact: Elder Skip Harvey - Connecting@firstmet.org)
Step 3: Growing - We will strive to encourage members to mature in the faith, in their knowledge of the word of God, and lifestyle. It is our desire as a family of faith that men and women be exemplary in their various roles in life. We offer meaningful ministries, as well as, a Mid-Week gather for worship and study of God's Word. A primary method for growth will be the First Meet Institute of Learning. (Contact: Elder Thomas Bradley - Growing@firstmet.org)
Step 4: Serving - We will strive to give every member the opportunity to discover the spiritual gifts, passion and personality profile and, serve in one or more ministries. We believe that being a follower of Christ requires serving others. This includes members and nonmembers. Serving is taking the love and message of Jesus Christ to individuals, groups and the whole world. Some ministries focus on special services. (Contact: Elder Bill Wooten - Serving@firstmet.org)
